Fan Workshop
Set the sticks, spread, and size of a folding fan. The cutting pattern updates as you go and exports ready for paper, a laser cutter, or a 3D printer.
Members collect a stamp for finding the workshop. Every fan drawn here carries a maker's mark.

Assembly
- 01
Cut the leaf along the solid outline, and the sticks and guards from card, plywood, or the printer.
- 02
Score every fold. Crease mountain folds on the stick lines and valley folds between them.
- 03
Glue a stick behind each mountain fold, add a guard at each end, and rivet the stack at the pivot.
